Hi,

i noticed that your plugin stopped working for me. I used it with Picasa Image Express.
I have tried the solutions in your FAQ, but neither changing the theme, nor disabling all plugins except Lightbox2 did help. My readers say that sometimes it works for them and sometimes not, which is very confusing. I'd appreciate your help very much.

Thank you.

I am using Lightbox2 (v2.9.2) with PicasaView (v1.1.4); however, the Lightbox no longer shows up in IE8--but it used to. When I click on an album link, IE takes me to a new page with the images lined, but no popup window and you can't click through to the next image. The same gallery works fine in Firefox, Lightbox pops up and you can see all the images for each different album. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both Lightbox2 and PicasaView. I'm running Wordpress 3.1.1 and a slightly modified default theme. Any suggestions?

Expanded images problem:

Thanks for a great plugin. I have just one small problem with it. If an image is inserted into a blog at a reduced size, which expands to full size when clicking on it, the Lightbox 2 CLOSE button does not seem to work.

Actually, what happens is the clickable area shrinks from the whole "Close X" area down to what seems like a one-pixel high line under the "Close X"

See example here (image #3 expands):

http://www.morgan-fisher.com/miniatures/2011/04/03/m1-12-fred-frith

I'm using the latest version of your plugin and of Wordpress.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Hi,
THanks for the great plugin. Just one issue with anothe r plugin at the moment which the author has pointed out is due to some code placed in the wrong place. See below:

if (!is_admin()) { // if we are *not* viewing an admin page, like writing a post or making a page:
wp_enqueue_script('lightbox',
($stimuli_lightbox_plugin_prefix.$stimuli_lightbox_js),
array('scriptaculous-effects'), '1.8');
}

this is not the right place where to call wp_enqueue_script, see:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_enqueue_script

Use the wp_enqueue_scripts action to call this function, or
admin_enqueue_scripts to call it on the admin side. Calling it outside of an action can lead to troubles. See #11526 for details.

Regards,
Tim

Hi, lightbox2 seemed to stop working with WP > 3.0.2 because my blog is still working with LB2 whereas other blogs which I already updated no longer work with LB2. I tried to exchange this jquery.js file mentioned in another posting. It did not help.

hi,

good work so far.
did you really transport the whole lightbox js 2.0.2?
at http://ahavriluk.home.comcast.net/~ahavriluk/lightboxEx/doc/#example you can see examples for a slideshow which can be played even with music.
please release a new version with that kind of ability.
best regards

Wordpress 3.1 kills Lightbox 2, perhaps related to the lightbox incompatibility with jquery 1.4.4 upwards.
