Slickr Gallery 0.5.1b released *bugfixes*
Download it | What is it? | See it in action
Slickr Gallery is a light, very fast Flickr photo album plugin for WordPress. It uses AJAX extensively to minimize bandwidth use and present a slick user interface.
New in this release:
- Gallery doesn’t appear until entire page loads, guaranteeing that the lightbox script has initialized.
- little fixes (for Safari, etc).
Known issues:
- All albums are shown, regardless of albums selected in the Slickr Gallery options page.
It’s early days for Slickr Gallery, but you will hopefully find it very usable. Please post feedback in the comments below.

Awesome! Works just fine in Safari now. Thanks so much for the work you put into this. ^_^
Thanks for being patient while I ironed out some kinks! It’s an unfortunate bug in Safari that caused the issue…
Hey Rupert, nice workaround, and really fast, great! Just a note that although it works on Safari on the first page of albums, when you click “next (number) albums”, the menu disappears again – so whatever bug fix you did for the first page of albums, copy it for the next page function, in the next beta release. Looking forward to using it on my new site (in process, hacking a WordPress CMS) / when we can choose a photoset/album; this is by far the nicest looking choice for WordPress slideshows I’ve seen yet. And of course, will link back to you… Nice portfolio, too, good luck with the teaching and travel. -n
thanks for the heads up!
