Open slickr.php and change line 414 so that the word Medium is replaced with Large

I get this… With Medium everything works.

Hey Rupert, the file slickr-latest.zip is the 0.4.3 not the 0.4.4 and when i install the slickr plugin an check it on my wordpress, the album redirects me to a html file (plain) without ajax, how can i solve this problem?, thanks.

Hi! I have installed Slickr and Lightbox and everything works perfectly, but I just can’t figure out how to get rid of the columns, search bar, and all that stuff generated form the template itself. I just want the gallery to be shown in its /portfolio adress. How do I get rid of the uneccesary stuff? Do I need to create a template file and point it our somewhere within the plugins code?

Just like to say that I love slickr I’ve seen it work on your site. I can’t seem to get it to work on my site. When I’m in slickr gallery options – sidebar widget options, when I click configure your sidebar I get a message saying cannot load widgets/widgets.php. I’m pretty new to this so haven’t got a clue how to sort it – any suggestions would be great.

First off, I love this plug-in!
a couple of things I would like to see if possible.
1. direct linking to a set in slickr (rather than just linking to /photos/ I would like to link to /photos/sets/XXXXXXX and have it open in slickr

2. option to show image description, comment info, direct link to flickr (take a look at http://michael.thecarruthfamily.com/blog/index.php/flogr-a-photoblog-interface-for-flickr/

3. ability to call large image

4. Set thumbnails

All in all, this is really awesome, I was already using Hemingway when I stumbled upon slickr, so the fusion was wonderful!

Great plugin, I think… Having problems after succesfull install with the Slickr Gallery page in admin. I get the following error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class phpflickr in D:\Inetpub\wwwroot\LiveMR.com\wp-content\plugins\slickr\slickr\phpFlickr\phpFlickr.php on line 44

Anyone with a good tip?

I’m in agreement, this is a great plugin!

Michel, I had a similar error and found that i needed to deactivate any other plugins that also used a phpFlickr plugin. I also had to edit /phpFlickr/PEAR/HTTP/Request.php and /phpFlickr/PEAR/Net/Socket.php, replacing the line: require_once ‘PEAR.php’;
with the full path of where that file was on my server.

Does anyone know how I can recode the slickr template, so that my sidebar gets displayed BEFORE the Slickr content? I’m using the jillij theme, which has nice dropdown menus as its sidebar, but my slickr page displays it after the gallery.

sorry for wasting your time, I only just read the README.txt and found that it answered my query perfectly.
just had to rearrange the view.php file in the Default theme.

Hey Wrinklebleck and others,
I got Large pictures to display in Lightbox by tweaking the slickr.php

all i needed to do was change the line which sets the Large photo location to this:
$photo['sizes']['Large']['source'] = $my_url.”_b.jpg”;
and then where it says /* Spits out our photo thumbnails: */
make sure Large was there, instead of Medium.

I’m sure this plugin can be tweaked to scale to the window size too.
Works like a charm already though.

I had some minor problems running Slickr with php5:

templates/photo.html – changed echo shorthand from “” to “” There’s about 20 places if I remember correctly…
Oh, and there was an “=” instead of an “echo” in templates/admin-options.html which didn’t work for me. Sorry, don’t remember what line. When I checked all files I also found a missing closing “?>” tag in phpFlickr/PEAR/Net/Socket.php
I hope this helps people without proper error msgs!

Hi Rupert, how can I link one picture to a whole gallery with slickr-gallery?, now i don´t have more options than showing/posting all the gallery, the thing is that i want to show/post just 3 pictures, but when i start looking these pictures, it could be nice if lightbox allows me to see all the pictures in that gallery,
