Slickr Gallery 0.4b released: *updated*

Slickr Gallery is a light, fast Flickr photo album plugin for WordPress. It uses AJAX extensively to minimize bandwidth use and present a slick user interface.

New in this release:

• Massive runtime speedups using efficient, minimal functions. Exponentially faster than previous Slickr Galleries. Especially for people with many photos and/or many galleries.
• It hopefully works (even for you, Kyle!), unlike 0.2b!
• A new, much faster Hemingway block is included in flickr/themes/hemingway/block/. If you have a previous Hemingway block installed, replace it with this one!
  
• Code is much more ‘bullet proof’ even on hosts like Bluehost (grrr).
  

Known issues:

• All albums are shown, regardless of albums selected in the Slickr Gallery options page. This is until I figure out what the deal is with Bluehost. Grrr.
• The Sidebar widget might work, but then again it might not. I’ve yet to check. Update: Apparently it does not.

It’s early days for Slickr Gallery, but you will hopefully find it very usable. Please post feedback in the comments below.
