Validate your (x)html right on your Mac!
get the W3C validator code | get MAMP
Cool! I had no idea you could run the W3C Validator code on pretty much any Apache web server.
I personally swear by MAMP for web development on my Powerbook. While OS X has both Apache and PHP included, MAMP is always way more up to date with versions of software, has many extra features (PHP accelerators, etc), is simple and Mac-like to use, works perfectly, and comes with a handy widget for starting and stopping MAMP.
Between MAMP and W3C document validation on my Powerbook, I can do web development at any time even without any network connection. Sometime W3C’s site can lag, and I’m fairly anal retentive when it comes to producing valid xhtml.
I think I’ll write MAMP and ask them to include the W3C validator.
